Notice of AGM
PETAA will hold its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 30 May 2024, commencing at 5:00pm AEST. The meeting will be conducted online via Zoom.
You are invited to join us for the AGM (please register here) where you will have the opportunity to:
• Vote on resolutions to elect Directors.
• Hear more about how PETAA operates and its plans for the future.
• Win one of two lucky-door prizes: a free in-person or online full access pass to the PETAA 2024 Leading with Literacy Conference: Learning, meaning, pleasure, or a pack containing all books recognised by the CBCA 2024 Book of the Year Awards that PETAA is creating curriculum units on this year!
As in previous years, the Board has opted for a locked and confidential digital ballot before the AGM to elect director candidates. The successful candidates will be put forward for election to the board by resolution of the PETAA members at the AGM itself.

1. Reports - to receive and consider the Directors’ Report, the Financial Statements and the Audit Report for year ended 31 December 2023. (Download the PETAA Annual Report 2023 )
2. Election of Directors.
Voting
With the voting that could be required at the AGM (e.g. on a procedural matter), voting will be as directed by the Chair of the Meeting via the Members present online or by a Representative as per Rule 23d) of the Constitution.
Representatives
In accordance with Rule 4a) of the Constitution, a Member that is a body corporate may appoint an individual as Representative by submitting appropriate notice to the Secretary.
