Children's Book Week® takes place 17 - 23 August 2024, with the theme Reading is Magic! This week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the joy and possibilities of reading - as well as implementing some reading for pleasure pedagogy!

As always, PETAA is creating a wealth of resources, including curriculum units, webinars, and practical teacher materials that will support you in celebrating Children's Book Week® in your school! Our approach is a little different in 2024, and we will be creating our new rich curriculum units only on those Notable and Shortlisted texts that are relevant for detailed exploration for teaching and learning purposes in the classroom.
