PETAA has partnered with the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) to provide a case study unit for supporting teachers during the familiarisation stage of the Victorian Curriculum F–10 Version 2.0 English (English Version 2.0).

Literacy Leader Karen Rogers has worked with VCAA on a level 1 case study that shows annotated examples of how current teaching and learning units can be adapted to align with English Version 2.0.

The case study, based on rich children's text Bev and Kev by Katrina Germein and Mandy Foot (Honours, CBCA Early Childhood book of the year award 2023) can support schools and teachers to consider the revisions to the English curriculum and reflect on how they revise and update their teaching and learning units.

You can access the unit on the VCAA website at this page. Scroll down to "Case studies - English Version 2.0 adapted teaching and learning units".
