Online: Supporting EAL/D students in our classrooms 1
NESA accredited. Presented by Dr Jennifer Hammond and Maya Cranitch. Supporting EAL/D students in our classrooms is a three part course designed to address the contributions and educational needs of diverse EAL/D students in Australian schools, including those who have recently arrived and who may be from refugee backgrounds. Drawing upon principles and practices of EAL/D pedagogy to support mainstream and EAL/D teachers in planning and implementing programs that meet the needs of EAL/D students in mainstream classes, teachers will learn how to identify specific teaching and learning practices that can best support the educational development of their EAL/D students. This course is NESA approved.
