What is the course about?

This course will be presented by Stephanie Salazar, an award-winning Instructional Leadership Coach. Stephanie will not only share proven strategies and insights from her successful collaborations with 27 schools across NSW but will also introduce participants to ‘The Leadership for Student Impact Journal’, a resource designed to guide leaders in documenting and reflecting on their impact. Elevate your instructional leadership in this full day devoted to interactive and transformative learning.

The workshop draws upon the coaching frameworks of Sir John Whitmore, Elena Aguilar and Jim Knight emphasising reflective practice and empowering teachers through empathy, curiosity, skillful questioning, and active listening. In exploring high-impact pedagogical approaches that significantly advance student learning, the workshop incorporates insights from experts including Dylan Wiliam, John Hattie, and Susan Brookhart.
