Examine the pedagogical strategies that bridge the steps of the teaching and learning sequence in this practical course. You will explore how to implement the systematic process of teaching literacy resources throughout your teaching and learning sequence, using pedagogic strategies such as joint construction, grammar lessons, independent writing, visual diagrams, and formal oral presentations.

Learning outcomes:

• Unpack the steps of the teaching and learning sequence and the bridge between them
• Evaluate and select appropriate orienting activities that incorporate meaningful language
• Understand the importance of notetaking within the teaching and learning sequence and be able to demonstrate this skill at a high level
• Understand how you can incorporate a range of pedagogic strategies such as joint construction, grammar lessons, independent writing, visual diagrams, and formal oral presentations
• Craft an impactful, meaningful and learning-outcome oriented teaching and learning sequence specific to your classroom context

This is a perfect opportunity for colleagues to work together in a year, stage or full staff meeting. This course is self-paced and unmoderated. All participants have access to materials for 365 days from the date they register.
