Modelling storyboards
Australian Curriculum: English sub-strand: Literature — Examining Literature
After students have read Chapter 7, demonstrate and model how to create a storyboard the interactive whiteboard, Comic Life or Time Toast.
The storyboard should contain the main events in the novel, (for example. delivering the flyers, starting high school, shopping or school supplies).
Creating storyboards
Australian Curriculum: English sub-strand: Literature — Responding to Literature
Following modeling and demonstration, students will develop their own storyboards and continue adding to them as they finish reading the text.
Students will: Students should add short captions, which use precise descriptive language to explain each event. The storyboards should include the main characters and descriptions of the settings.
