Cross-Curriculum Courses

The Australian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (ACARA) acknowledges that 21st century learning does not fit neatly into a curriculum organised solely by learning areas or separately identified subjects. PETAA regularly holds a variety of grammar professional learning courses, covering several different angles and approaches.

These PETAA courses are anchored in the study of English, which is central to the learning and development of all young Australians, and helps create confident communicators, imaginative thinkers and informed citizens. They also embrace cross curriculum approaches to ensure that teachers can provide students with increasing control over different types of language to analyse, understand and communicate, and build relationships with others and with the world around them.
