Teachers will be provided with ways to read model texts in order to identify a focus on language choices across a range of informative texts. Links between modelling, reconstruction and joint construction will be made through strategies such as dictogloss and the development of meaningful learning intentions and success criteria for writing. Joint construction will be looked at during the drafting and editing phases in the process of writing.
