Live Webinar: Exploring picture book illustrations

Free webinar for members only. Freya Blackwood has been writing and illustrating children’s books since 2002. Her work has captured international attention, including multiple awards and nominations. These include the prestigious Kate Greenaway Medal (2010), which is the UK’s most prestigious award for children’s illustration, and the CBCA Picture Book of the Year Award in 2007 and 2015. We talk to Freya about creating story worlds and meaning through illustrations and words – how the two relate to, and enhance, each other.
