Free download: A guide to 16 rich texts for supporting Intercultural Understanding in the English and literacies classroom - and 16 additional teaching units, checklists, frameworks, expert advice, and further reading!

Literature is a powerful tool for developing intercultural understanding in the classroom. Diverse literature serves as ‘mirrors, windows and sliding doors’ for the reader – mirrors are books that the reader can see themselves reflected in; windows allow the reader to see into the lives of others; and sliding doors give the reader access to step into the world of those different to themselves. To support you in this important task, we've created a guide featuring:

• 16 texts to support you in building a more diverse classroom or school library.
• Each text is paired with a downloadable checklist, framework, curriculum unit, or other teaching resource designed to make an impact.
• Enter your details at the link and this invaluable guide will be delivered directly to your inbox!
