Online: Leading with Literacy — PETAA 2021 Conference

PETAA's 2021 Leading with Literacy Conference on demand. Powerful practices for all learners.   After an extraordinarily challenging 18 months, schools and teachers worked harder than ever to respond to the world around them, and its ever-changing conditions, to continue to provide a powerful literacy education to all young people across Australia. But these circumstances have considerably impacted teaching and learning. That’s why it’s more important than ever that we invest in developing the skills, strategies and practices that will benefit our most vulnerable learners. The annual PETAA conference is the only conference dedicated to primary English, language, and literacies and in this online, on demand conference, our speakers will show how, by embedding inclusive practices in classrooms and schools, we can encourage all students to find their voice, feel connected to the curriculum, and achieve improved outcomes.  With a fabulous line up of presenters including  Dr Helen Adam, Dr Misty Adoniou, Jacqui Cowell and Prof Robyn Ewing, Prof Helen Graham and Haley Tancredi, Stan Grant, Dr Gill Pennington, Margaret Turnbull, Prof Peter O'Connor, Tim Warwick , Karen Yager and other experts you will find this conference valuable and worthwhile.
