Samera Kamaleddine started her career writing for teen magazines, but now she’s a librarian by day and writer for young people by night. She is the author of Matilda Prize-winning Young Adult novel Half My Luck and new middle grade novel The Sideways Orbit of Evie Hart. Thanks to our friends at HarperCollins, we’ll be chatting with Samera about writing for primary-aged children, and about her new novel, which like many contemporary books for younger readers, explores mental health and big feelings in an appropriate and thoughtful way.
