National Reconciliation Week: 27 May - 3 June 2026

National Reconciliation Week 2026 centres on the theme All In — a call for all Australians to commit to reconciliation through sustained, everyday action. In classrooms, that commitment is realised through the texts we choose, the knowledge we build, and the conversations we lead.

At PETAA, we honour this work, especially how it sits within the teaching of English: engaging with rich, authentic texts; supporting students to read, interpret and respond with care; and using purposeful classroom talk to build understanding, respect and critical thinking.

This collection brings together curriculum-linked units, texts and resources to support deliberate, text-centred teaching across National Reconciliation Week — and throughout the year. Each resource is designed to support clear planning, confident teaching and learning that connects knowledge, language and meaning.
