Course Overview -

  • Module 1: Literature and the Australian Curriculum.
  • Module 2: Selecting quality literature for use in the literacy classroom.
  • Module 3: Planning learning experiences for your own context.


Why participate?

Literature is a powerful tool for learning. In acknowledgment of the breadth of the Australian Curriculum, this course is designed to support educators to plan learning experiences that meet the needs of the English learning area, as well as other curriculum learning areas, general capabilities and cross-curricular priorities.


Who should participate?

  • Teachers - Years F-6
  • Professional Learning Communities


How does it work?

  • Individuals: Upon registration individuals will be sent a link to access the PL on our online learning platform.
  • Whole schools: One staff member must register on behalf of their school. They can choose to have a single link to view this together or can email us the names and email addresses of teachers they wish to enrol.
