Books & Bubbles

A special event presented by Jennifer Asha. Come along to discover and explore quality children's literature while sipping on a glass of bubbles!

This two hour, face to face workshop provides an opportunity for teachers to appreciate high quality texts, including multimodal texts, and discuss their possible use in programming for the Australian Curriculum: English. 

Participants will gain a bank of literature resources, increased knowledge of specific examples of quality literature and a greater understanding of what constitutes quality literature in regards to picture books, novels. poetry, websites and video clips.

Completing this course will address standards  2.2.2, 2.5.2, 2.6.2, 3.4.2,6.2.2, 6.3.2, 7.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
